A larger chamber for the development of high power cathodes is shown during installation. It has been upgraded by the addition of two 4500L/s maglev turbo-molecular pumps, allowing high power, high current hollow cathodes to be tested(>50A) whilst maintaining low pressures of the order of 5 e-5 mbar. It will be used in a collaborative project for the development of high power cathodes with the Japanese Space Agency, JAXA.
