  • Novel and Compound Glass – a suite of specialist glass making and fibre-drawing equipment for manufacturing some of the world's highest quality chalcogenide glasses.
  • Focused Ion Beam (FIB) - rapid nano-structuring of metallic, semiconducting and dielectric materials and devices
  • Flame Hydrolysis Deposition (FHD) - a state-of-the-art system for the growth of silica to form waveguide structures for integrated photonic circuits
  • Integrated Photonics – planar processing of raw and bespoke materials not typically found in silicon processing facilities, to produce sensing, communications and Lab-on-a-Chip devices.
