MTC hosts the National Centre for Additive Manufacturing so is the natural first stop for any company/sector looking to explore opportunities in AM. Perfect process for lightweighting parts and helping to reduce cost and time to design and build spacecraft. ​​

DRAMA (Digital Reconfigurable AM Facilities for Aerospace)
MTC is running a £10m programme called DRAMA to develop a world-first digitally twinned, reconfigurable AM facility. It will: validate AM process and innovations and be 100% reconfigurable to meet end user and SME needs. Outputs of the programme include: AM knowledge base of equipment and capabilities; to improve process flow and enhance productivity; and provide an interactive physical and digital AM facility, covering the entire process chain.
