This uniquely configured UAV system allows for the easy integration of instrumentation payloads for testing and demonstration purposes. The Firefly 6 PRO is a vertical take-off and landing craft which transitions into a traditional forward flight mode, offering a huge gain in the potential area coverage when compared to multi-copter UAVs, while offering the same flexibility. ASG have adapted their Firefly 6 PRO to include power supply and other features to the payload area and have deployed the UAV System with a number of payloads under development. ASG can support the development of payloads through providing input to requirements and systems design along with aiding integration and conducting test flights and campaigns with the UAV system. With the correct payload, this UAV could also be used for large-scale surveying activities.
